Backstage News On WWE Pivoting From The UK To Canada For 2025 Elimination Chamber

-- WWE has been expanding its horizons lately by holding their Premium Live Events (PLEs) in countries outside of the United States with notable examples being the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Germany and France. Next year's Elimination Chamber event was believed to be headed to the UK, however, due to logistical reasons, WrestleVotes Radio reported that doesn't appear likely anymore.

-- According to their report, WWE and the UK could not come to terms on an agreement more because of a timing issue and not being able to finalize details within a certain time period. The report noted that when WWE finalizes a city and venue for one of their big events, there are a lot of wheels in motion including fees coming from the municipality and venue availability for the date(s) they want.

-- As a result, WWE began looking at other options for Elimination Chamber and the front-runner is now Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The report adds that the city of Toronto "stepped up" and has been "itching" to get more PLEs to the city recently at the ScotiaBank Arena. As far as the UK goes, WrestleVotes Radio hinted that they will more than likely be getting a PLE some time later in 2025 and discussions on that front are ongoing.
