Former WWE personality Jonathan Coachman recently made bold claims on the Coach and Bro Show with Vince Russo, suggesting that WWE is in discussions to be sold to Saudi Arabia. He indicated that the upcoming 2026 Royal Rumble and next year's WrestleMania 43 in the country are “tests” for what may lie ahead.
In response to a fan's inquiry about the potential sale of WWE to the Saudi Public Investment Fund, Sean Ross Sapp addressed the rumors during the latest edition of Fightful Select Answers. According to Sapp, there is no truth to these rumors, and a sale is not on the horizon. He emphasized that WWE generates substantial revenue for TKO, making a sale unlikely unless a "too-good-to-be-true" offer arises.
Endeavor acquired WWE in April 2023, and the company has since merged with UFC to form TKO. TKO has proven to be highly profitable for Endeavor, which is pleased with WWE's contributions to reducing their debt. WWE's partnership with Saudi Arabia dates back to 2018 when the company signed a 10-year deal to host Premium Live Events (PLEs) and major events in the country.
