Backstage News On WWE Taping A Special Show Tonight, May Possibly Involve New Signee

WWE is set to tape footage for a new A&E show tonight.

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, WWE is planning to film for an upcoming A&E project as of December 10th, and a match would take place on the show, possibly involving Elijah Holyfield, son of boxing legend Evander Holyfield. Elijah, who formerly played in the NFL as a Cincinnati Bengal, was only signed by WWE less than a month ago. WWE also recently announced a new Tough Enough-style show on A&E.

When Holyfield makes his debut match, he will become a second-generation WWE Superstar. His father also has some wrestling experience, competing against Matt Hardy on WWE’s Saturday Night’s Main Event in 2007.
