As previously reported, there were several "leaks" online as fans attempted to film activities around PetCo Park leading up to Survivor Series: WarGames. WWE began testing the big screens with visuals featuring WWE Hall of Famer "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and global ambassador Titus O’Neil, which contributed to the "leaks" suggesting that these legends were scheduled to appear at the event.
According to Fightful Select, former WWE star Jinder Mahal was also among the talent whose visuals were used for testing the graphics. The company was aware that the open layout of the baseball field allowed people to see some of the setup from their hotel rooms. The report noted that a curtain was erected to protect rehearsals, with the Women’s WarGames Match rehearsal taking place on Friday evening and the Men’s WarGames Match rehearsal later that night.
As the week progressed and more "leaks" began to surface, the people in charge reportedly decided to "have fun" with the visuals, with many in WWE enjoying the spread of information online. Additionally, it was reported that an extra ring was set up backstage to ensure privacy during the rehearsals.
