Backstage News On WWE's Non-Compete Clauses On Recently Released Talents

WWE recently released a total of 14 Superstars from the NXT and 205 Live brands, including Tony Nese, Ariya Daivari, August Grey, Ever-Rise (Chase Parker and Matt Martel), The Bollywood Boyz (Sunil Singh and Samir Singh), Killian Dain, Arturo Ruas, Curt Stallion, Fandango, Tyler Breeze, Marina Shafir and Tino Sabbatelli, many of which have already confirmed that they have a 90-day non-compete clause with the WWE that is reportedly set to expire on Thursday, September 23rd.

This would prevent any former WWE Star from showing up or competing on IMPACT's Slammiversary as they have been advertising on their Slammiversary promo that several recently released WWE Stars will show up on the PPV, but there's no word yet on if any recently released WWE Star will be competing or even making their debuts.

According to reports, most talents from NXT have a 30-day non-compete clause instead of a 90-day non-compete clause, but there are exceptions such as Tyler Breeze, Fandango and The Bollywood Boyz as the contracts they have with the WWE are main roster contract deals.
