Logan Paul and Rey Mysterio will be going face-to-face on this week's episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown.
Fightful Select is reporting that Logan Paul went into his boxing match against Dillon Danis fully planning on using his post-fight platform to set up the segment with the WWE United States Champion.
As noted, Paul called out Rey for a U.S. title shot after his win via DQ over Danis in the co-main event of the Misfits Boxing: PRIME Card this past Saturday in England.
During his appearance on today's episode of "The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani," WWE Hall of Fame legend Rey Mysterio confirmed that he and Paul will be coming face-to-face on this Friday’s edition of SmackDown.
It is believed that the two will clash for the U.S. title at the WWE Crown Jewel 2023 premium live event later this month in Saudi Araba.
