Reigning Women's World Champion Stephanie Vaquer has been on the receiving end of a significant push since entering the promotion and recently has been involved in storylines with both WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella as well as Raquel Rodriguez of the Judgment Day, turning aside their challenges to retain her title.
Meanwhile, it was reported yesterday that WWE has big plans in 2026 for the returning Liv Morgan and are considering her for a marquee match at WrestleMania 42 as they push her as one of the top stars in the women's division and now it appears Morgan and Vaquer are headed for an eventual collision course.
On the December 1 episode of Raw, WWE had Morgan confront Vaquer and according to a report from BodySlam.net, the company has discussed a match between thet wo for "some time" which is why their interaction teased a future showdown. The report cautioned though that any potential buildup is not considered imminent and that creative is looking more towards a gradual work up towards their program.
Apart from Morgan, WWE also sees "tremendous value" in having Vaquer feud with both Becky Lynch and Rhea Ripley and those storylines are also expected to materialize when the time is right.
