Backstage Report On WrestleMania 37 Returning To A One-Night Format

This year's WrestleMania 36 pay per view took place over the course of two nights for the first time in WWE history. The event, which was held at an empty Performance Center due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, broke up the usual 7-8 hour marathon into two 3.5 hour shows, a decision Triple H said made the "Showcase of the Immortals" a much more enjoyable watch.

"I think it was much more enjoyable than the eight-hour extravaganza. I think at some point that is probably what it should be," said The Game on the most recent episode of After The Bell with host Corey Graves.

WrestleMania 37 is currently scheduled for the newly constructed SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles California, but that location is pending based on the outcome of the viral outbreak and the city's decision on large gatherings. According to the Wrestling Observer, the Hollywood edition of Mania is reportedly set to return to its one-night format, which is set for Sunday March 28th, 2021.
