An update on Wardlow.
The AEW star and former three-time TNT Champion has been spotted in Los Angeles, but not for the reasons you might expect.
Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reports that Wardlow has been in LA recently, the same city where AEW Revolution is set to take place tonight at the former Staples Center. It’s been nearly a year since Wardlow last appeared on AEW TV, with his last match occurring on March 13 at AEW Dynamite Big Business. While it's unclear if he’s backstage at Revolution, sources suggest it "wouldn't be surprising" if he was.
However, Wardlow's presence in LA is tied to another project he's been working on, not necessarily AEW-related.
Over the past year, rumors have swirled about Wardlow’s lack of TV appearances. Each time Fightful Select has inquired, we've been told that the former TNT Champion has been recovering from an injury. As of now, there is no confirmation that he will be part of tonight’s broadcast, nor do we have any updates on when his return to the ring might happen.
