According to the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, AEW star Chris Jericho has finished touring with his band Fozzy and is available to return to the ring at any time. However, he is currently waiting for a creative direction or storyline from Tony Khan before making his comeback.
Although Jericho is free to return, Fozzy has scheduled a new tour in the U.K. from February 6 to February 21, 2026. If Jericho has made his comeback and is involved in a significant storyline by that time, the tour could result in him missing a few weeks of AEW programming.
Jericho has been absent from AEW since April when he lost the ROH World Title to Bandido at Dynasty. Since that loss, the Learning Tree, consisting of Big Bill and Bryan Keith, has continued without him. Jericho stepped away from TV partly due to his tour with Fozzy, but he also felt it was the right moment for a break.
