As previously reported, top AEW star Darby Allin has been announced as not medically cleared to compete after being rushed to the hospital following last week’s episode of Dynamite. Allin is not cleared for travel or in-ring competition after his match with Kevin Knight.
Dave Meltzer noted on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio that Allin's injury occurred during his match with Knight. While the exact moment of the injury is unclear, Bryan Alvarez mentioned that Allin has been released from the hospital and is able to travel home.
Alvarez and Meltzer also stated that they are uncertain about Allin’s status or whether he will be able to continue competing in the Continental Classic, as there has not yet been information released regarding the nature or severity of his injury.
