Backstage Update On Ivar Being Pulled From Tonight's WWE Raw, When He Is Expected To Return

An update on Ivar has surfaced.

As noted, WWE has announced that the originally scheduled Andrade vs. Ivar match for tonight's WWE Monday Night Raw show at AllState Arena in Rosemont, Ill. has been scrapped, with Ivar being unable to compete.

The replacement for The Viking Raiders tag-team member has been announced, as Raw General Manager Adam Pearce confirmed that Giovanni Vinci of Imperium will step in on short notice against Andrade.

In an update on Ivar, Fightful Select is reporting that Ivar is fine and will be returning to action inside the squared circle for WWE in "quick fashion" after being pulled from his advertised bout for tonight's Raw in Chicago.

It is still unclear what exactly the issue is that led to Ivar being pulled from the Andrade match on tonight's show, the second-to-last three-hour WWE on USA Network red brand program leading up to WrestleMania XL on April 6 and April 7.

Regardless of what the issue was, WWE is reportedly not concerned about it and as noted, it is only a blip in the radar for Ivar's growing momentum as a singles star. Ivar's partner from The Viking Raiders, Erik, has been on the shelf for some time now due to a neck injury.
