As previously reported, former AEW star Lady Frost became a free agent at midnight on Wednesday, April 1, after her contract with the company expired. Frost has since confirmed her free agency by posting on her Twitter (X) account, where she expressed her gratitude to AEW President and CEO Tony Khan and mentioned that she is now seeking new opportunities.
According to Fightful Select, Frost has already found a new home, as she was immediately signed by MLW upon entering free agency. The report noted that sources indicated MLW had shown immediate interest in Frost and communicated that excitement to her. She is set to participate in several upcoming tapings for the promotion.
At this time, there is no information regarding the length of Frost's contract with MLW, but updates will be provided as they become available. Frost signed with AEW in 2023 and last wrestled for the company in January, where she lost a match to Mina Shirakawa during the January 10 episode of Collision. Prior to that, her last appearance for AEW/ROH was on the July 11 episode of ROH on HonorClub. Throughout her tenure with AEW and ROH, Frost remained active on the independent wrestling circuit.
As of today, I am a free agent. I want to thank @TonyKhan for being an incredibly kind and passionate boss. I had some of the most incredible moments with @AEW and I am so grateful for the years that I spent there.
For now, I’m on the hunt. Onto the next…— Lady Frost (@RealLadyFrost) April 1, 2026
