As previously reported, a substantial portion of the WWE library on Peacock is set to leave the streaming platform on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, which has already passed. It was noted that no new agreement for WWE’s archive has been reached, and the company is currently exploring its options.
According to Fightful Select, WWE is working on a non-exclusive host for its library. However, sources have indicated that YouTube remains a significant part of WWE’s plans for its library. It is believed that the library content will be gradually rolled out on WWE’s YouTube channels as well. WWE is expected to negotiate a favorable deal with Google for video content, given that WWE consistently ranks as a top-performing channel.
The report also states that there are no plans for a mass release of library content unless a new deal is secured with an alternative platform to host it. For the time being, WWE NXT premium live events and WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event will remain available on Peacock as the only exceptions. The next edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event is scheduled for Saturday, January 24, at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and will stream live on Peacock.
