Backstage Update On Ticket Sales For This Month's AEW Worlds End PPV

AEW is scheduled to hold its 2025 Worlds End pay-per-view (PPV) on Saturday, December 27, at the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, approximately 6,130 tickets have been sold so far, with a full sellout at the venue reaching about 9,000 tickets.

The report also notes that the lowest advertised ticket price for the event is $53; however, this price has not yet sparked a late surge in sales. Secondary market activity has been more stable, suggesting that there is still some demand. The newsletter indicates that AEW has various promotional strategies available to boost sales, including finalizing the Continental Classic finalists by December 21 and increasing television promotion featuring headliners like MJF.

Additionally, the Continental Classic remains the strongest draw as the event approaches. Outside of the tournament, the confirmed match card is less robust than in previous AEW pay-per-views, with Kris Statlander defending her AEW Women's Championship against Jamie Hayter being one of the highlights. Several notable wrestlers have yet to be announced for the show, including Ricochet, Mark Briscoe, FTR, Bandido, Brody King, Eddie Kingston, Darby Allin, Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, Toni Storm, and international talent like Místico.
