Backstage Update On Ticket Sales For WWE WrestleMania 42 Nights One And Two

As previously reported, WWE WrestleMania tickets are selling more slowly this year, prompting the company to explore promotions and strategies to boost sales. Dave Meltzer noted in a previous edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that as of February 13th, Night One of WrestleMania 42 had sold 36,964 tickets, while Night Two had sold 36,737 tickets. Despite WWE offering discounts during Valentine’s Day weekend, the demand for tickets has declined.

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Meltzer reported that WWE has sold 36,200 tickets for WrestleMania 42 Night One and 37,135 for Night Two. He also highlighted that current ticket sales are down by 18.4% compared to the same time last year. The get-in price in the secondary market is $246 for Night One and $264 for Night Two.

The WrestleMania 42 card is still being finalized. While the matches for the World Heavyweight Championship and the Women’s World Championship are official, the other two world title bouts will be confirmed this Saturday during the Men’s and Women’s Elimination Chamber Matches. Additionally, Brock Lesnar's advocate, Paul Heyman, announced this past Monday night on RAW that The Beast Incarnate will conduct an Open Challenge at The Show of Shows. However, it is still unknown who will answer his challenge.

WrestleMania 42 is scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 18th, and Sunday, April 19th, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.
