-- All eyes are on tonight's WWE Friday Night Smackdown to gauge what sort of influence, if any, Vince McMahon will have on it after he pretty much took over and ran Monday's Raw. PWInsider.com has an update on the situation:
- McMahon is not physically present at tonight's Smackdown taping which is taking place way out west in Portland, OR.
- He did review tonight's creative plans remotely but made only minor changes.
- The hope amongst many internally is that McMahon only took over Raw on Monday because he was actually in town for WrestleMania all the weekend related activities. The fact that he didn't make the trip to Portland is a good sign for those who want him to stay away from creative.
- As expected, with McMahon visibly absent, the backstage morale at Smackdown is considerably better than it was Monday but many are also cautiously taking a "wait and see" approach.
- A conclusion many are making is that McMahon only contributes remotely to creative plans for either Raw or Smackdown, the structure, flow and makeup of the shows as we have been seeing over the last 9 months with HHH in control will be largely the same.
