Backstage Update On Wardlow Injury From AEW Dynamite: Worse Than He Is Letting On

Wardlow is not invincible.

The Undisputed Kingdom member reportedly suffered an injury to his leg during his match with Komander on this week's episode of AEW Dynamite.

Near the end of the bout, Wardlow's knee appeared to buckle on him while delivering a power bomb to the masked wrestling star for the win.

After the match, Wardlow addressed the injury concern on social media.

"A normal man's knee would be ruined," he wrote. "I'm no normal man. I'm still coming for the heavyweight title. And there's nothing and no one that can stop me. Knee is just fine."

Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio at Wrestling Observer Radio that despite his claims, Wardlow is not fine and will be getting checked out today to see the severity of the injury.

The initial belief is that Wardlow may have torn a meniscus, but that he's lucky it wasn't much worse.

We will keep you posted.
