As previously reported, the WWE Netflix docuseries, “WWE: Unreal”, has been renewed for a second season, and filming for the next season began in September.
According to BodySlam+, multiple WWE stars will soon participate in interviews for Season 2 of “WWE: Unreal”. These stars include R-Truth, IYO SKY, Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, Naomi, Lyra Valkyria, and Penta. The report also mentioned that, given the surprising events that have occurred over the last eight months, WWE and Netflix have already filmed "plenty of content" for the upcoming season.
The report suggests that the interviews will likely cover significant events, such as R-Truth’s contract expiration and his initial exit from WWE earlier this year. Additionally, Season 2 is expected to showcase Seth Rollins’ strategy of faking an injury in order to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase against CM Punk at SummerSlam 2025.
Initially, it seemed that R-Truth would be leaving WWE since the promotion chose not to renew his contract. However, he made a surprise return at WWE Money in the Bank 2025.
“WWE: Unreal” Season 2 is set to debut on Netflix sometime in 2026. Although the season does not have an official release date yet, the first season, which consists of five episodes, is currently available on the streaming platform.
