Backstage Update On When LA Knight Is Expected To Return To WWE Following The Vision Attack

As previously reported, WWE announced this past Monday night on RAW that LA Knight is “indefinitely” out of action following a vicious attack by The Vision the previous week. After losing to The Vision's Logan Paul in the main event, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed brutally assaulted Knight, with Reed delivering a Tsunami on Knight while he was on the roof of a car.

In the latest edition of Fightful Select Answers, Sean Ross Sapp reported that Knight will be out until at least 2026. The report also mentioned that Knight still has multiple years remaining on his current WWE contract.

Some fans have claimed that the attack on Knight was a “burial” of the former WWE United States Champion. However, BodySlam+ reported that Knight is being positioned as one of the top babyfaces in the company for 2026, indicating that the upcoming year will be much bigger for him in WWE.

There is currently no information on when Knight is expected to return to WWE. It was noted that he was working the December 8 RAW while dealing with an illness. It remains to be seen if the plans for Knight will ultimately come to fruition. Sapp expressed that he does not view the incident as a burial and believes that the strong reaction from WWE fans is exactly the kind of response that WWE aims to provoke.
