Backstage Update On WWE Adjusting Monday Night RAW’s Start Times

Last month, it was reported that WWE has adjusted the start times for some episodes of RAW, moving them an hour earlier. Tonight's episode will begin at 7 PM ET. For October, all shows will return to the traditional start time of 8 PM ET, except for the October 13th episode, which will be the post-Crown Jewel show. Since the company will still be in Australia at that time, this episode will start at 8 AM ET.

The reason for the change in start times is to experiment with different scheduling to address the impact of the NFL season. According to Fightful Select, the October episodes of RAW would likely have remained at 7 PM ET. However, since the shows will be held in Dallas, Texas; Sacramento, California; and Anaheim, California, it would have posed challenges for local fans, who would need to arrive at the arena earlier than usual. The report also indicated that WWE is still considering what start times to adopt for the RAW episodes in Boston and Madison Square Garden.
