Backstage Update On Zoey Stark’s Recovery From Knee Injury

WWE star Zoey Stark has been sidelined from in-ring action since May 2025 due to a severe injury she sustained during a Money in the Bank Qualifying Match against Kairi Sane and Rhea Ripley. During the match, Stark attempted a missile dropkick but landed awkwardly on her knee, resulting in a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus. This isn't her first significant injury; she had previously suffered a similar injury in 2021. Since undergoing surgery, Stark has been focused on recovery and rehabilitation.

In the latest Fightful Select Answers Q&A, a fan inquired about her progress. It was reported that Stark is currently at the WWE Performance Center, continuing her rehab. Additionally, WWE management has noted that they did not expect her to return before a full year after her injury, which is a common timeline for such injuries in professional wrestling. Sean Ross Sapp expressed that, optimistically, he would be surprised to see her back before WrestleMania 42.

Back in November of last year, there were reports that WWE has high hopes for Stark and is considering a potential babyface run upon her return. In January, she shared a photo from the gym on her Twitter (X) account with the caption, “Almost....⏳💪.”
