Backstage WWE News & Notes From Last Night's Monday Night Raw

-- Last night's WWE Raw was an eventful one with the return of Seth Rollins, the unveiling of the Wyatt Sicks group that had been teased for weeks as well as a Drew McIntyre quitting angle and we also saw wrestlers moving forward in the Money in the Bank ladder match for next month. Below are some backstage news and notes from the show, as per fightfulselect.com:

  • In the internal run sheets that were distributed to staff, Seth Rollins was not listed on any of them; instead the segment in which he appeared was simply listed as belonging to Damian Priest, obviously to keep news of his return from leaking online.
  • WrestleVotes reported yesterday that WWE is hoping that CM Punk will be fully cleared to return to the ring by SummerSlam and this report is corroborated by Fightful.
  • Damian Priest received "heavy praise" for his performance at the recently completed WWE Clash at the Castle event in Scotland. Drew McIntyre has also received repeated and consistent accolades for the way he continues to work through all his personal issues.
  • Speaking of McIntyre, for anyone who even had doubts about him "quitting" and deleting all of his social media accounts, it is obviously only for storyline purposes as McIntyre recently signed a new contract with WWE and isn't going anywhere.
  • A match between Karrion Kross and Xavier Woods was pulled from Raw for unknown reasons, however, the two are scheduled to wrestle next week.
  • WWE officials were said to be very pleased with the Bron Breakker-Ludwig Kaiser camera and they had planned for it throughout the day.
