WWE was without one of its top stars for the December 6th edition of SmackDown.
Fans were quick to notice that former women's champion Bayley was absent from last night's show, which took place at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. On today's episode of SmackDown LowDown, Bayley appeared and revealed that she was able to take the week off to recover from WarGames.
"I don't think anyone's 100% coming out of war games. That match is so brutal. We all know the stakes we take, all the risks we take just by joining the teams and being a part of it. I was in there from the very beginning, starting with Nia Jax. So it took a toll. But let's just say I'm happy that I got this week off to rest, okay? I get to rest. I get to study. I get to watch some Chelsea Green matches."
Bayley will be back for the December 13th episode of WWE SmackDown, where she'll face Chelsea Green in a semifinal matchup for the U.S. women's championship.
Bayley was on Smackdown Lowdown. She said she took a week to rest after War Games. Talking about her match next week.. she said she is the woman of first evers: first ever Women's Tag Team Champ, first ever Grand Slam Champ and soon.. first ever Women's US Champ.
