Becky Lynch is happy for her old friend from the WWE NXT version of the Four Horsewomen.
As "The Man" continues to make the media rounds to promote her new book, "Becky Lynch: The Man: Not Your Average Average Girl," she spoke with the Orlando Sentinel for an in-depth feature interview.
During the discussion, "Big Time Becks" was asked about the big time contract that Mercedes Mone signed with All Elite Wrestling recently, which led to her talking about the significance of equal financial compensation for men and women in the business.
"I think that’s an important part, getting paid equally for the equal work and the equal position we are at right now," Lynch said. "Women’s evolutions and revolutions are fine and well, but making sure that they equate to contracts and financial reward for these things, when we are doing equal work, is hugely important."
