Becky Lynch is going for the WWE Women's World Championship against Rhea Ripley on "The Grandest Stage of Them All."
And she doesn't care where the match is placed on either card during the two-night WWE premium live event.
"The Man" has been making the media rounds to promote the upcoming WrestleMania XL shows on April 6 and April 7 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, PA., and during a recent Clutch Points interview, she was asked if she cares about where she is in the match order for the events.
"Nah, man, I’m not worried about card order," Lynch said. "I would love to open the show. I would love that. I’ve never opened WrestleMania before. And to open this one, as big as it is in Philadelphia, I’m just putting that out there. It would be pretty cool because if it’s not the main event, I always want to be the opening spot — it’s always a great place on the card because people are so excited."
As she continued on the topic, she appeared more and more to enjoy the idea of setting the tone for the most highly-anticipated two nights on the annual WWE calendar as the opening match for the opening night.
"Oh, night one" she said. "I would love to open the whole of WrestleMania, you know what I’m saying? Just [to] be that first match for that whole event. [Opening the show will] give me enough time that I can relax and really enjoy Colby [Seth Rollins] main eventing WrestleMania and getting to watch him do that because that will be so special."
