Big E On Whether Or Not He Will Compete In The WWE Again

WWE SmackDown Superstar Big E recently spoke with The MMA Hour on a variety of topics such as whether or not he will return to in-ring action for WWE again as the doctors have told him if his neck breaks again, then something worst could happen to him.

Big E said when he initially sustained the injury back in March, he was told that he would be able to return in three months, but when the doctors did another scan after the 8th week his neck looked even worse than it previously had. Big E also mentioned that after the 12th week, his C-1 has already been healed fibrously, but had not yet ossified, however he isn't ready to make his in-ring return and the current plan is to look at his neck again in March of next year and get a prognosis from there.

The former WWE Champion also said when he first got hired by the WWE he didn't care if he died in the ring because he got to do what he loves and now at 36 years of age he is mentally healthier and would even end up having so many different experiences.

Big E said:

“When I got hired, I was 23 … I think it was a time in my life where if I had died in the ring, cool. I got to do what I love, and I went out there in the ring. Now at 36, having worked through a lot of those things and being mentally healthier, this job has allowed me to meet so many different people from so many different walks of life and have so many different experiences.”
