Don't expect to see a Fight Pit II battle at the NXT New Year's Evil event this evening.
The Fight Pit II battle between Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher was originally scheduled for tonight's special black-and-gold brand event, however the match has been pulled from the official lineup currently advertised on the official WWE website.
Additionally, the official WWE NXT Twitter feed removed a recent tweet that announced the match.
