Big NXT vs. TNA Showdown Set To Take Place In Two Weeks Time

The main event of this past Friday night's TNA Final Resolution special featured TNA World Champion Frankie Kazarian defending his title against JDC from The System. Kazarian successfully retained his championship by pinning JDC after delivering a springboard leg drop.

Following the match, a massive brawl erupted when members of The System came down to check on JDC. This was followed by several NXT stars entering the ring to attack The System. In the chaos, they attempted to set the TNA logo on fire, but the TNA roster intervened to stop them. The show concluded with Stacks, who had earlier won the TNA International Championship, delivering a superkick to TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella.

Marella later took to his Twitter (X) account to share a video in which he announced that in two weeks, the two factions will settle their differences in a Steel Cage Match. As of now, it is unclear whether this match will take place during a TNA event or an NXT event, and the full rosters for both teams have not yet been confirmed. Updates will be provided as they become available.

Based on the participants in the brawl, it is expected that the teams could include Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo, Charlie Dempsey, Lexis King, Tyriek Igwe, and Tyson Dupont for the NXT side, while the TNA side may feature Matt and Jeff Hardy, Steve Maclin, Mike Santana, and Marella himself.
