As we noted earlier, Rey Fenix has been officially removed from the AEW roster page, an indication that the lucha-libre superstar is finally free from his contract after time was tacked on due to injury.
It has been reported for months that Fenix will be joining his brother Penta in WWE, but now it seems that could happen sooner than expected. WrestleVotes is reporting that the former AEW International, Tag, and Trios Champion could be joining the roster at any point. Not only that, but it appears that WWE is looking to add Fenix to the WrestleMania 41 card, although in what capacity is unknown.
