Billy Corgan Says Jon Moxley Would Make Excellent Rock-Star, Motley Crue Would Be Good Wrestling Team

Billy Corgan recently appeared as a guest on the Under The Ring podcast for an in-depth interview covering all things pro wrestling.

During his appearance on the popular pro wrestling program, the NWA President and front man for the rock band Smashing Pumpkins spoke about Motley Crue having what it takes to be a good wrestling team, as well as his belief that Jon Moxley would make an excellent rock-star.

Featured below are some of the highlights from the interview where he touches on these topics with his thoughts.

On his feeling that legendary rock band Motley Crue could have made a good wrestling team: “Right off the top of my head, like imagine Vince Neil and Tommy Lee from Motley Crue as a tag team. Like The Freebirds, but more like an 80s rocker type of thing. It’d definitely draw money, right?”

On thinking Jon Moxley would be an excellent rock-star: “In the reverse, Moxley. Moxley has a rockstar charisma. He just does. Rockstars have a kind of weird thing where you kind of can’t stop looking at them People usually akin it to beauty, and there are, of course, beautiful rockstars. Moxley has got that weird thing like Kurt Cobain had, like Iggy Pop has. You just kind of look at him. He’s got kind of a rugged charisma, and I’m sure his wife would agree. You could definitely see Moxley fronting a band."
