Bobby Lashley To Be Added To The WWE Championship Match At Day 1

An announcement was previously made by WWE that WWE Champion Big E will be defending his WWE Title at the upcoming Day 1 PPV Event against Seth Rollins. Seth earned his shot at the WWE Championship, when he beat Rey Mysterio, Kevin Owens and Finn Balor in a Fatal 4-Way Ladder Match on the season premiere of Monday Night RAW.

Kevin Owens was then added to the WWE Title Match at Day 1, making it a Triple Threat Match, after he defeated WWE Champion Big E via DQ due to Owens tricking Rollins into attacking him. This past Monday night's episode of WWE RAW then saw a Non-Title Steel Cage Match between WWE Champion Big E and Kevin Owens.

During the match, Seth Rollins interfered, but was unsuccessful in costing WWE Champion Big E the win as the WWE Champion still came out on top. Immediately after the match, Bobby Lashley made his way to the ring and laid waste to all three Superstars and due to his actions, WWE is now teasing that Bobby Lashley could be added to the WWE Title Match at Day 1.

It was mentioned on a video promo recently released by WWE that this Monday on RAW Lashley insists he belongs in the WWE Championship Match at WWE Day 1, so will Lashley get his way. There is no word yet on what the WWE has planned for Bobby Lashley on RAW and if he will be added to the WWE Title Matchup at Day 1, but updates will be provided once it has been made available. RAW this Monday night will be taking place from the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota.
