Bobby Lashley is Reportedly Dealing With Shoulder Injury That May Require Surgery

-- Yesterday at WWE's Elimination Chamber PPV, Bobby Lashley was taken out of the men's match and at first glance, it appeared to be a worked injury that would lead to a storyline headed into WrestleMania. However, news is coming in that it might be a bigger, more serious reason that Lashley was removed. The Ringer Wrestling Show podcast reports that Lashley is apparently suffering from a shoulder injury that he suffered at the Royal Rumble against Brock Lesnar following a Lesnar suplex. The report added that Lashley could be looking at surgery that would sideline him for months.

-- PWInsider.com further reports that Lashley is expected to get evaluated next week in Birmingham, AL by Dr. James Andrews which immediately raises red flags as Andrews - a renowned orthopedic surgeon for knee, shoulder and elbow injuries - has treated and performed major surgery on several WWE stars over the years. It's unclear if Lashley will appear on Monday's Raw which would likely be prior to his appointment with Dr. Andrews.
