Booker T thinks Athena has a bright future ahead of her in All Elite Wrestling.
Following her promotional debut at the AEW Double Or Nothing 2022 pay-per-view, as well as her subsequent in-ring debut match on the post-DoN 2022 edition of AEW Rampage on TNT, Booker T spoke on his "Hall Of Fame" podcast about his thoughts on her arrival in AEW.
Featured below are some of the highlights from the episode where the two-time WWE Hall Of Fame legend congratulates the former NXT Women's Champion known as Ember Moon during her run in WWE on joining the ranks in AEW, as well as how he feels she can help elavate the women's division in the company.
On congratulating Athena for signing with AEW and joining the fold with her debut at the Double Or Nothing 2022 pay-per-view: "I want to congratulate her for hitting the spot man on the AEW roster and hopefully big things will happen moving forward in the future."
On thinking that Athena can help the women’s division in AEW grow: “Well, definitely to be able to have them in some form just working towards getting to that place we’re trying to get [to]. Because like I say, Jade Cargill, she’s still a work in progress. And I don’t think we want to rush anything too soon. But just having someone like Athena around there for her to actually bounce off of and perhaps learn from, she definitely would be beneficial.”
