Braun Strowman Apologizes To Top WWE Star Drew McIntyre

At last May's WWE WrestleMania Backlash PPV Event, the All Mighty WWE Champion Bobby Lashley defended his WWE Title against Drew McIntyre and former WWE Superstar Braun Strowman in a Triple Threat Match, which Lashley ended up winning. At one point during the match, Strowman hit an elbow drop on McIntyre and McIntyre seemingly got hurt.

The former WWE Superstar took to his Instagram and posted a video clip of himself hitting the massive elbow drop on Drew McIntyre and the caption, “😬😬😬😬 gravity is a bi*ch sometimes!!! #StiffB**tard #MyBad#330lbs #IWorkSnug #DoYouThinkHePo*ped #Wrastlin” seemingly apologizing to The Scottish Warrior for hitting him with the elbow drop.

This spot reportedly also caused Braun to suffer broken ribs and this was incidentally his final bout in the WWE prior to him getting released. Braun Strowman was released by WWE last June 2nd reportedly due to budget cuts and his 90-day non-compete clause with the WWE is set to expire on Tuesday, August 31, which means that The Monster Among Men will only be able to sign with other promotions after this date. WWE has shown interest in bring Braun back to the company and All Elite Wrestling is reportedly interested in signing him as well.
