On June 2nd, WWE released a total of 6 Superstars reportedly due to budget cuts, which includes Braun Strowman and his 90-day non-compete clause with the WWE is set to expire on Tuesday, August 31, which means that he will only be able to sign with other wrestling promotions after this date. Strowman has reportedly been in talks with IMPACT Wrestling about possibly signing with them, but they have yet to come to terms on a deal.
The official Twitter account of WWE NXT recently posted a question on social media and asked the fans which NXT Star do they want to see on the main roster. Former WWE Star Braun Strowman took to Twitter and gave his thoughts on the matter. According to Strowman, he would want to see NXT Women's Champion Raquel Gonzalez make her jump to the main roster. NXT Women’s Champion Raquel Gonzalez and former WWE Star Braun Strowman are a real-life couple.
