Braun Strowman is ready for battle at this coming Sunday night's WWE WrestleMania Backlash 2021 pay-per-view.
Ahead of the show, where he squares off against "The Scottish Warrior" Drew McIntyre and "The Almighty" Bobby Lashley in a triple-threat match for the WWE Championship, "The Monster Among Men" spoke with Scott Felstead of Muscle & Fitness to promote the show, which streams live via the WWE Network on Peacock this Sunday, May 16, 2021.
Featured below are some of the highlights from the interview.
On the WrestleMania Backlash PPV main event having a 'big-fight feel' to it: "It’s got the big-fight feel. This is a clash of the titans. This is King Kong vs. Godzilla vs. The Incredible Hulk, and it’s a fight for dominance."
On 'big men wrestlers' not being a 'dying breed' and how they are actually responsible for the industry being what it is today: "I think we are going to open people’s eyes so that they say ‘hey’, because these big boys are what made the industry what it is today."
On his plans to do a bodybuilding show: "I’m going to do a bodybuilding show. That’s always been something that I’ve wanted to do. I always joke around about doing a men’s physique show. I think it would be hilarious seeing me on stage at 330 pounds where everyone else is probably 180 pounds [laughs]."
