Bret Hart Reacts To Vince McMahon's WWE Retirement, Insists He's Not Happy About His Situation

Bret Hart doesn't think "Vince screwed Vince."

Bill Apter recently spoke with the two-time WWE Hall of Fame legend about the recent retirement of longtime WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon.

During the discussion, "The Hitman" surprisingly noted that he wasn't happy to see McMahon go through what he is currently dealing with.

Hart told Apter the following when asked for his thoughts on McMahon's retirement.

“I’m like everybody else, I’m mostly just kind of surprised. I don’t think anybody’s ever made as big a footprint as Vince McMahon and, you know, I feel kind of sad about it, actually.

"I know people probably think I would be gloating or happy to see him go through what he’s going but I don’t. I feel bad that it happened or whatever has happened. I think his loss or his absence from the business will be sorely missed.”
