Former IMPACT world champion Brian Cage released a video on his Instagram stating that he's no longer working for IMPACT Wrestling, but is unsure of where he may end up. Cage also reveals that his torn bicep injury that forced him to miss the Hard To Kill pay per view will require surgery, and he'll be having surgery next week.
I know there's been a lot of speculation on where I'm going. Rumors that I've signed here, that I've signed there. All kinds of stuff. I haven't answered much and I've been keeping to myself about it. My contract did come to an end with IMPACT Wrestling. They made me an offer to stay, as did multiple other companies. While I was mulling all that over, unfortunately, I tore my bicep. I didn't want to say anything until I knew what was going on. I am set to get surgery this Monday. I'm not technically with any group right now. I had a bunch of amazing offers from all over the place and I'm hoping they're still there when I heal up.
Recent reports claimed that AEW was interested in Cage, as was Ring of Honor and WWE. Check out the Machine's full statement below. (Transcribed by Fightful)
