-- Brian Pillman Jr. recently exited AEW after his contract expired and according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it looks like there is a good chance he could be on his way to WWE. The report indicates that Pillman teased going to the WWE's Performance Center at an autograph signing noting that he's "excited for the future" but "can't speak on it" at the moment but conceded that it is a huge opportunity for him.
-- The Observer added that apart from reports that he's signing with WWE, Pillman is moving to Orlando this month to begin training there but WWE sources have only privately stated that they have interest in him but that overall, the company is limiting new signings and that it would need to be an exception for a special case, however that is defined. Talent who WWE has interest in are being talked to and told to "just wait" until after WWE and Endeavor officially finalize their merger later in 2023.
