ROH previously issued a press release, where it was mentioned that The Briscoes (Mark Briscoe and Jay Briscoe) will be defending their ROH World Tag Team Titles at the Supercard Of Honor XV Event, but it was not revealed at the time who Mark and Jay Briscoes will be defending their titles against. It was also mentioned on the press release that The Briscoes, who were announced as the first-ever inductees of the inaugural Ring Of Honor (ROH) Hall of Fame, have signed an open contract, which means that any team from any pro wrestling promotion can be named as their opponents.
AEW President and CEO Tony Khan recently took to his Twitter and revealed that the ROH World Tag Team Champions The Briscoes (Mark and Jay Briscoe) will defend their titles against AEW's FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) at Supercard of Honor. This match has been rumored to take place ever since both of these teams had a confrontation at this past December's Final Battle PPV following The Briscoes' huge ROH World Tag Team Title victory over the OGK (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett). Since then, both FTR and The Briscoes have continued to take shots at each other on social media.
Already announced for ROH's Supercard of Honor PPV is an Undisputed ROH World Title Match between ROH World Champions "The Octopus" Jonathan Gresham and Bandido and former WWE Star Sw3rve The Realest vs. fellow former WWE Star Alex Zayne in Singles action.
ROH's Supercard Of Honor PPV is set to take place on Friday, April 1st from inside the Curtis Culwell Center in the Dallas, Texas Metroplex area in Garland, Texas. ROH Supercard Of Honor XV PPV marks the company's return from a hiatus and the show can be viewed on FITE TV and regular PPV.
