On this week’s WrestleVotes Radio, the Royal Rumble in 2026 was a topic of conversation and one of WWE’s brightest, young stars is reportedly a top favorite to win the men’s match.
According to their report, Bron Breakker is currently the “whiteboard favorite” to win the match, which is a reference to WWE’s “whiteboard” that was featured on display during the WWE Unreal series. With that in mind, this would mean it is a very preliminary plan as the whiteboard matches seen on Unreal for WrestleMania 41 ended up being changed quite a bit so WWE could absolutely pivot away from Breakker.
Another possible clue that gives credence to this rumor is Paul Heyman referencing Breakker as the “future of WrestleMania”, with WrestleVotes noting that Heyman likes to give out “spoilers” and interestingly didn’t refer to to Breakker as the “future of the WWE” or the “future of wrestling” but specifically mentioned WrestleMania.
Breakker is currently scheduled to wrestle CM Punk for the World Heavyweight title on the first Raw of 2026.
