Bryan Danielson recently spoke with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated for an in-depth interview promoting his title opportunity against AEW Champion "Hangman" Adam Page in the main event of the AEW Winter Is Coming 2021 special event in Garland, Texas.
During the discussion, "The American Dragon" spoke about his plans to modify the leather AEW Championship belt that is currently featured in the promotion, as well as what fans can expect when he squares off against Page at the Winter Is Coming show.

On planning to modify the leather AEW Championship belt if he wins it from "Hangman" Adam Page at AEW Winter Is Coming: “I do not understand why we are still making anything out of animal skin. We don’t need to. The synthetic fibers are just as good-looking and just as durable as leather, and we don’t harm any animals. I don’t know if I’d go all the way to the hemp and naturally fallen oak [like the ‘The Planet’s Champion’ belt], but I’d love to get that changed.”
On what fans can expect when he meets Page inside the ring at Winter Is Coming: “Excellent pro wrestling is f*cking awesome, and my goal is to deliver excellent pro wrestling. I’m going to go out there and kick his ass. I 1000% think he’s going to kick my ass. It’s going to be a fight. It’s going to be everything we love about professional wrestling.”
