Bryan Danielson recently spoke with Sports Nightly for an in-depth interview covering all things pro wrestling.
During the discussion, "The American Dragon" offered high praise for Shane "Swerve" Strickland and reflected on working with William Regal in the Blackpool Combat Club in AEW.

On how he feels Shane "Swerve" Strickland is something special: "[October 10] was the first time I had ever been in the ring with Swerve and I’d watched him wrestling before and he’s that next level of great, you know what I mean? Seeing him is one thing, being in the ring with him is a completely different thing, but that dude is something special."
On his time working with William Regal in AEW: "Some of the things that have also been really cool and really fun in this period that I’ve been in AEW are some of the surprises. Like William Regal coming to AEW and being part of the Blackpool Combat Club. There was a time period where I didn’t know if I’d ever see him again, and then I got to see him every single week. We’d drive together, show up early, help train people together, and so when he left, it was sad for me, personally, but I was grateful that I got to spend that time with him, right?"
