Bully Ray's Contract With Ring of Honor Ends; Now a Free Agent

-- Bully Ray's days with Ring of Honor are over, as per multiple sources who note that his contract recently expired and that no new offer was extended by the promotion. The WWE Hall of Famer officially wrapped up with ROH on April 1 and the exit was mutual with an understanding that he would work the Supercard of Honor event that was scheduled for WrestleMania weekend, but was obviously cancelled. His contract ending makes him a free agent, who is free to sign and work with any other promotion immediately.

-- The Observer Newsletter reports that Ray wasn't offered a new deal because ROH wasn't extending deals to anyone amid the COVID-19 pandemic, however, this has been disputed by others, most notably announcer Ian Riccaboni on Twitter, who shot down the rumor implying that he signed a new contract with the company.
