Carmella Responds To Fan Who Took A Shot At Her In-Ring Capabilities

As previously reported, WWE Star Bayley recently suffered an injury while training at the Performance Center and is set to be out of action for at least 9 months, but prior to suffering an injury she was slated to challenge SmackDown Women's Champion Bianca Belair for her SmackDown Women's Title at Money in the Bank this coming Sunday in an “I Quit” Match.

Due to her injury, Bayley was removed from the match as she won't be able to compete and was replaced by two-time Money in the Bank winner and former SmackDown Women's Champion Carmella, but Camella will not be facing Belair at Money in the Bank, instead she will face Belair on next week's SmackDown live in front of the WWE Universe from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.

A number of wrestlers and fans were not happy with Carmella being put in this position, including Liv Morgan. After a back-and-forth exchange with Liv Morgan on Twitter, Carmella and a fan went at it who took a shot at Carmella for her in-ring capabilities. The fan wrote, “You need to edit this!! Me: I’m bringing the back the divas division from 15 years ago. looks over wrestling ability. WWE universe: nobody wants this. We want proper wrestling not bra and panties matches”

Carmella then responded with, “HAHAHA! That’s where you’re wrong, sweetie. I have the looks AND the talent. I’m the total package. I don’t get why people like you & the rest of the WWE Universe makes it seem like we can only fit into one box. I love looking good & I can go in the ring. It’s ok to do both.”
