Many wrestling veterans and personalities have drawn the comparison from Ronda Rousey to Kurt Angle in terms of the two each having a substantial rise to the top in WWE in an unusually fast fashion.
During a recent appearance on Ebro in the Morning on Hot 97, Charlotte Flair became the latest top Superstar to make the same comparison.
"The Queen" appeared on the popular New York morning talk radio program to promote the WrestleMania 38 two-night premium event at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on April 2, 2022 and April 3, 2022.
During the discussion, the SmackDown Women's Champion spoke about being impressed with the return thus far of Rousey, as well as how she was similar to Kurt Angle in her fast rise to the top of the ranks in the WWE Universe.

"What she did that entire year, she faced The Bellas, Nia Jax, myself, Alexa Bliss. She performed with many different opponents at a high level. That doesn’t mean you necessarily have the best chemistry with everyone, but I think she went out there and she reminded me of Kurt Angle.
“She picked it up so quickly. It’s all about instinct and she has the instinct, and that’s half the battle. You can be in this business for a long time and never figure out instinct, in my opinion.”
