Chris Jericho Compares No Fans For Wrestling Matches To A Stand-Up Comedian Performing In An Empty Room

Chris Jericho recently appeared on Pittsburgh's Action News 4 to promote tonight's Dynamite and Friday's Rampage debut at the Petersen Events center in Pennsylvania.

During his appearance on the local news station in Pittsburgh, "Le Champion" was asked about performing without crowds throughout the pandemic and how that makes his job difficult.

He also spoke about being excited to have fans at the aforementioned Pittsburgh venue for the AEW television shows tonight and Friday evening.

Featured below is an excerpt from the discussion where "The Demo God" touches on this particular topic with his thoughts.

"Not having a crowd when you wrestle is like standing against the wall and telling jokes as a comedian. You're not getting any feedback. Like, is this funny, is it not funny? I don't even know. You know if they're feeling it, and cheering and screaming and yelling, then you kind of wait a bit, and if they're not, then you do something else, and we didn't have that."
