Chris Jericho Compares Wrestling Fans To Star Wars & Kiss Fans, Talks Risks He Took Joining AEW



Chris Jericho recently spoke with the folks from the Comic Book website for an in-depth interview covering all things pro wrestling.

During the discussion, "The Wizard" of All Elite Wrestling and the J.A.S. spoke about how wrestling fans are prone to complaining while supporting the product, as well as the risks he took leaving WWE to help launch AEW.

On the risk he took in leaving WWE to help launch AEW: "I took a chance in starting in AEW knowing that if it works, it's another feather in the legend of Chris Jericho. If it fails, I have to crawl back to WWE on hands and knees and try to go back there again."

On WWE, Star Wars and rock legends Kiss all being similar in how their fans all complain about everything but still watch, buy and support it all at the same time: "I always find that wrestling fans, Kiss fans and Star Wars fans are all very similar. They hate everything. Complain about everything, yet support everything, and watch everything and buy everything."
