Chris Jericho Files To Trademark A Term That Could Be His New Moniker

This past May 6th, top AEW Star Chris Jericho filed to trademark the term “The Watch” with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (the USPTO) for entertainment services. "The Wizard" Chris Jericho had the filing done through Attorney Michael E. Dockins, who has helped several AEW Stars filed their trademarks in the past as well.

There is no word yet on what the term “The Watch” means and how and where Chris Jericho will be using it, but it is believed that “The Watch” is another new moniker of the first-ever AEW World Champion.

Below is the use description submitted to the USPTO:

“Mark For: THE WATCH trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainment personality; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personality; Entertainment services, namely, televised appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personality; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Providing online interviews featuring professional wrestlers and sports entertainers in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for entertainment purposes.”
